Remove group administration permission

You can remove only the group administration permission while keeping the member's membership in the group. An organization administrator or the group administrator of that group can perform this operation.

1. Open Members for the target group.
2. Enter the email address of the member whose permission you want to remove.
3. Uncheck Administration permission.
4. Click Add / Update permission.
5. Confirm in the member list that the group administration permission has been removed.

A member who also holds organization administrator permission can still manage the group as an organization administrator even after the group administration permission is removed.

Remove organization administration permission

You can remove only the administration permission of another organization administrator while keeping their membership in the organization. An organization administrator can perform this operation.

1. Open Members for the target organization.
2. Click Remove administration permission in the row of the target member.
3. On the confirmation screen, verify the target email address and click Yes.
4. Confirm in the member list that the organization administration permission has been removed.

You cannot remove your own administration permission. Ask another organization administrator to do it. If you are the only organization administrator, first invite a successor as an organization administrator, and after the successor joins, request the permission change.

Membership in the group and group administration permission remain as they are. If you also want to remove group administration permission, follow the Remove group administration permission steps above for the target group.
