We recommend granting group management permissions to instructors who manage groups or teach classes when adding them to a group. By providing group management permissions, instructors can perform operational tasks such as adding members, assigning subjects, monitoring, and setting class times themselves without going through an organization administrator.

Affiliation.Groups.Members.Management Permissions box.Add/Update Permissions.Only users who already belong to the organization to which the group belongs can be added to the group. If the target instructor does not yet belong to the organization, please add them to the organization first by following Inviting members to an organization.
Additionally, if a group does not yet have any administrators, only an organization administrator can add the first group administrator. If you receive an error while trying to perform this action as a group administrator, please request an organization administrator to do it.
