Bulk delete members

You can remove multiple members from an organization or group at once.

Permissions required

• Organization administrator
• Group administrator (only for groups they manage)

What you can do

• Bulk delete organization members
• Bulk delete group members
• Pre-verify the number of people who will actually be deleted from the email addresses entered

Steps to bulk delete organization members

1. Open Affiliation.
2. Open the organization name.
3. Open Members.
4. Enter the email addresses of the members you want to delete.
5. Check the number of deletions displayed on the screen (e.g., 2 people will be deleted with the current input.).
6. Click Bulk delete.
7. Confirm the number of deletions on the confirmation screen and click Yes.
8. After deletion, verify that the target email addresses have disappeared from the member list.

Steps to bulk delete group members

1. Open Affiliation.
2. Open the organization name.
3. Open Groups.
4. Open the target group.
5. Open Members.
6. Enter the email addresses of the members you want to delete.
7. Check the number of deletions displayed on the screen (e.g., 2 people will be deleted with the current input.).
8. Click Bulk delete.
9. Confirm the number of deletions on the confirmation screen and click Yes.
10. After deletion, verify that the target email addresses have disappeared from the member list.

How to enter

• You can enter multiple email addresses separated by line breaks or spaces.
• Only members currently affiliated are subject to deletion.

If deletion does not occur

• If the entered email address is not currently affiliated with that organization or group, it will not be deleted.
• If the number of members to be deleted is 0, you cannot perform a bulk deletion.

Supplementary notes

• The deletion confirmation screen displays the number of people who will actually be deleted.
• Once the deletion is complete, the display of the number of deletions on the screen will return to 0 people will be deleted with the current input..
• If you include email addresses that do not exist or are not currently affiliated, those email addresses will be ignored.
