Change Account Settings

On the settings screen, you can update your display name, manage passkeys, register environment variables, and opt out of code readability reviews and the leaderboard.

Who this is for

What you can do

• Change your display name
• Add or remove passkeys
• Register or delete environment variables for your own use
• Opt out of code readability reviews and the leaderboard

How to open it

1. Click your account name in the upper right corner.
2. Open Settings.

Change your display name

1. Open the Profile section.
2. Check your current email address and display name.
3. Enter a new display name and save.

You cannot save if the same display name is already in use.

Note: Your display name is information that may be shown to other users, such as through rankings. Do not enter information that can identify you personally, such as your full name, organization, or student ID number.

Manage passkeys

In the Passkeys section, you can view the list of registered passkeys, add new ones, and remove them.
Registration uses the authentication features of your browser or device.

Manage environment variables

In the Environment Variables section, you can save environment variables for your own use by specifying a name and a value.

• You cannot register duplicate names for environment variables.
• Variable names are expected to use alphanumeric characters and _.

Opt out of code readability reviews and the leaderboard

The Code Readability Reviews and Leaderboard section appears if you can view courses that include problems corresponding to Code Readability Reviews and Leaderboard. It also appears when the materials for such a problem have no deadline and the feature is not yet available to you.

1. Press Opt out of this feature.
2. A confirmation will appear. Review the content and proceed.

After you opt out, the code readability reviews and leaderboard will no longer be displayed in any course. Submissions locked before you opted out that appear on the leaderboard will remain.

Note: You cannot undo an opt-out yourself. If a service administrator later sets a course for you after you have opted out, the feature will appear again.

Additional notes

• Your email address itself cannot be changed from this screen.
• Passkeys and environment variables may be required depending on the device you use or the materials you work with.
