In the Manual grading results section on the right side of the submission detail screen, you can give a score and feedback to a submission. For problems that cannot be graded automatically, such as reports (manually graded problems), when a learner passes the automated tests, the learner's problem screen displays "Please wait for the manual grading results." This message does not change after grading; learners check the grading results in Manual grading results on the submission detail screen.
Open Learning analytics for the course. If there are submissions that require manual grading, the message "There are submissions that require manual grading." appears at the top of the screen.
Manually graded problems appear as wide cells in the progress table, and submissions not yet graded show an icon. Click the target cell.
A list of submissions filtered by that learner and problem opens. Open the submission you want to grade.
In Manual grading results on the right side of the submission detail screen, enter a Score.
If needed, write a comment for the learner in Feedback.
For particularly good submissions, check Outstanding work.
Press Save.
After saving, you can move to the next grading target with Go to next submission, Go to next submission by the same user, or Go to next submission for the same problem. Back to learning analytics returns you to the learning analytics screen.
