Collapsing Answered Questions

Questions embedded in the lesson text (multiple-choice and written questions) can be collapsed once they are answered, to make them take up less space. This feature keeps questions you have already completed from getting in the way when you review the material.

Collapse or expand individual questions

• When you next open a lesson, answered questions are displayed in the collapsed state. Questions you answered after opening the page stay expanded so you can check your results.
• To collapse an open question, press the Collapse button at the bottom left of the question card.
• To expand a collapsed question, click anywhere on the collapsed question card. The downward arrow at the right edge of the card indicates that it can be expanded.
• Unanswered questions cannot be collapsed. They are always shown expanded.
• Even when collapsed, one of Unanswered, Answered, Correct, or Incorrect is shown next to the question number, so you can check its status.

Collapse or expand all at once

Press the Question Collapsing button in the menu bar at the top of the content card (just to the left of the gear button) to choose one of the following actions.

• Collapse All Collapses all answered questions. Unanswered questions cannot be collapsed, so they remain expanded.
• Expand All Expands all answered questions that are currently collapsed.
• Reset Cancels any manual expand/collapse changes and returns to the default state (answered questions collapsed, unanswered questions expanded).

Saving the expand/collapse state

Manually changed expand/collapse states are saved per lesson in your browser and are kept even after you close the browser. They are not carried over to other browsers or devices.
