How to open for each destination
To add to an organization
- Open
Affiliation.
- Open the organization name.
- Open
Subjects.
To add to a group
- Open
Affiliation.
- Open the organization name.
- Open
Groups.
- Open the target group.
- Open
Subjects.
Steps
- Enter the ID of the subject you want to add.
- Click
Add.
Scope of disclosure
- When added to an organization: All members belonging to that organization can use the subject.
- When added to a group: Only members belonging to that group can use the subject.
Since in most cases the target audience is limited, such as by class or grade, we basically recommend adding to a group. It is safer to limit adding to an organization to subjects that can be disclosed to all members without issue (such as university-wide teaching materials).
Supplementary notes
- Organization administrators can add subjects to both organizations and groups.
- Group administrators can add subjects to the groups they manage.
