How to Navigate Depending on the Destination

To Add to an Organization

1. Open Affiliation.
2. Open the organization name.
3. Open Courses.

To Add to a Group

1. Open Affiliation.
2. Open the organization name.
3. Open Groups.
4. Open the target group.
5. Open Courses.

Steps

1. Enter the ID of the course you want to add.
2. Click Add.

Visibility

• When added to an organization: All members belonging to that organization can use the course.
• When added to a group: Only members belonging to that group can use the course.

Since courses are mostly intended for a limited audience, such as a class or grade level, we generally recommend adding them to groups. To stay safe, limit adding courses to organizations to those that are appropriate to make available to all members (e.g., university-wide common materials).

Notes

• Organization administrators can add courses to both organizations and groups.
• Group administrators can add courses to the groups they manage.
